Due to the breakdown of the original tanking design, the ground and lower ground floors were stripped back to the concrete frame and replaced complete. The home was in occupancy during the full phased working programme and carefull planning with staff and residents to manage noise, fire evacuation, health and safety, nurse call, fire alarms and all service were paramount.
The opportunity was taken during the works to improve, rearrange and renew laundry, kitchen, staff and residents areas, with intensive managed works to ensure minimum disruption to meals and laundry facilities.
